STUPID EMPIRE

Well, yesterday i went to Empire hotel to get a gift voucher. I went there with Meela. I know i have heard about the staff treatment there to clients especially when you are local. They make u feel you are cheap and well they only treat non-local nicely. Well, i should suggest make that hotel esp for tourists then!
Okay, the thing is i wanted to ask for gift voucher for one of the restaurant for gift. The thing is that the lady in charged had no idea what she was doing saying "i am new"... for me that is not an excuse... dont sit there then! anyhow... it took ages as she was on the phone... n there we were sitting and waiting while she did her errands. And then told us, the gift voucher must be specific in terms of date to use. I asked for any voucher that is flexible as it is a gift i wont know the people i am giving in terms of their schedule etc. And apparently not possible. I explained the lady was like "i dont knw i m new, wait i ask" and so it on n on with phone n waited. And then as she couldnt understand that i could not specified the date n rather have the flexible voucher, she called another lady. A malay this time and god so langsi! For me u r just a receptionist lady and u think you all that! with ego, she was like "did u call before u come here" i was like call for what! to get voucher?.... she was like on n on saying how they need to print the voucher n hence need date etc... i was like yes... u can print all i wanna know can get a general gift voucher to be used in empire... after all talking and she was damn slow to understand, mcm kalah kalahan, she was like "yes, we used to have that before" and i said " and now?" and the lady was like a bit angry " the person in charge doing that is off to pray, we dont know how to do it" and i was like "huh, not my problem"... in my head was like... this is the table or counter to buy that and if the person not there why open it may as well put close! and like she asked us to come back later n leave our number.... i was hell no i am coming back! and well they contacted me like 8pm last nyte... i was like wow who would want the voucher again as after Empire i went to Sheraton to get the same,.... guess wat i got it in 5 mins!! so efficient!! And wat can i say abt empire... Stupid!
