TWO TIRING DAYS...

Well, I just came back and before i sleep, i think i will update here. On Sunday, i checked emailed in the afternoon and got the email from my supervisor in regards to my thesis. More modifications well i wont say modifications but more addition which at this point i think is totally absurd and like not even the main objectives of the study i was conducting which were validating the use of STAI and finding the normatives values according to age, gender etc. But to do more like the interactions and effects of age etc... married male and married female, young malay, old malay male married student etc all jumble up! i was like this can be another paper! so i just do the necesssary modifications and did not succumb to that, for the fact as well, i waited long time for feedback and the meeting and like we have little time as we need to submit so i can graduate and register. So i just accepted the email and did the needful.

I was in uni yesterday to do the printing so i can send it off for binding and met Charles, the clinic director. And he was like... "so will i get it today?" I was like... "get what?". He looked at me as apparently when he saw me friday after my meeting with my supervisor, he kind of told me that he was expecting my thesis monday and hence, when he said "i see you monday", I thought was just like usual as i do my work at uni clinic there. Haha... as i said i havent binded it, he said "no need, just give me a copy, and u do bind etc later n just submit formally and by then i got ur mark ready"... it is like a short cut thing. I like Charles, straight to point. At clinic, first half, i had Amanda as my supervisor and when i came back for second half, he was my supervisor and the placement went smoothly! Bless him!

And so... printed all... and i got back home and Kieu was waiting as she wanted to come along to the shop. And well... i sent the papers to shop and needed to come back next day to collect. I came back today and took the book. Here is the outcome. And i went uni and submitted three copies formally...

And well, yesterday, after the shop... kieu and i went to Burnside shopping complex as i wanted to check the Nine West shop there and well, we wanted to have coffee and chill out. And at about 4pm, while we were browsing around, Kieu received a call. It was from the SA board registration thing and she was informed the application she sent out last week not complete (we handed it personally to the office) as she needed to have her transcript. But our understanding that we cant have the transcript as she havent graduated (til next march for local students). And thus why we inserted a letter from head of School to inform that as previous people earlier had the same thing for registration. It was like how come people before got through and she couldnt. And so, we rushed back as she needed to submit her bachelor and honours certificate as well. We went to uni n hoping to see Mark, as he is our clinical program coordinator and dealing with results and registration. He wasnt there so we spoke to Helen. And Helen was like, what they provided us is sufficient for registration and that has always been the procedure. And she insisted that we cant get transcript unless we graduated. So Kieu called the SA board again, and still they needed the transcript. We didnt know what to do. And then they spoke to Helen as well... and drama continued. I was drain by then as i woke up early to do my thesis. And then we got Mark on the phone... this all like 5pm! and then, i thought like why dont we asked Campus central again. Last we went, the person provided Kieu with the mark script from My UniSA side. Thats all. So we went to Campus central and now different person and she said we could get the transcript. Damn! But it took 4 working days but we asked is there anyway we can get hold of it the next day. It is possible as only thing we do is fax and request that we want it next day and pick it up from 101 Currie street. So simple!! We did that and like drained n mentally tired with all the drama with the SA board and Uni ppl. It is a misunderstanding! And well... the transcript can be ready at 1pm the next day.
And so we decided that today at 9am we go to the board and submitted what we have and to inform that the transcript can be ready after 1pm as the board insisted that they want it the next morning. So early this morning we went and informed them. We were tired, didnt sleep well and hungry. and like we had 3 hrs to kill. We went breakfast, n then went to wash my car, and then EzyVideo and get my boxes from Rai. And still we had 2 hrs to kill! hahaha... so we went shopping a bit. And well we thought why not we tried our luck to Currie st... and yes... the transcript was ready before 1pm! Nice... so we went again and on the way i picked up my thesis and then headed to SA board again. This is our fourth time! and done... and on the way back... i stopped at uni to drop my thesis for formal submission! and we are done! we were like really tired... need sleep... but Hanh called and wondered we wanna joined her for lunch. And we were okay... may as well... that abt 1plus. Met her at David jone and went to food court... Kieu and i were really tired! I saw laurane... i couldnt even talked as i just waved as i was really tired!! Sorry Laurane dear, not that i was "sombong" hehehe but i was really tired n just rushed to sit down.. i didnt even eat! hahah too tired to eat!... well... then just headed home and now writing this before i forget! ahhaa and well... i will stop here!! and will rest!!! and catch u later!!
